It feels good to be writing again even though it’s not always easy. At this point in my process, I’ll have days where I’m sitting at the piano for hours... like 4, and sometimes for a few days in a row, and I’ll have nothing to show for it. No spark impels me towards a direction, it’s just a dark abyss. I’ll often avoid writing because of that, but when there is a spark and the music comes, it’s so deeply satisfying to put something together. And I guess that wouldn’t have happened had I not fumbled around for 8 hours 😂. I hope that time gets smaller. I more hope I’ll remain a humble servant to the process and just remember to stay open, learning and searching.
